S&C.R.E.W event,
at the Syrian Club

In a collaborative effort to promote sustainability and reduce carbon footprints, the Syrian Club in Alexandria hosted an S&C event in partnership with Masader Company, And in the presence of Eng/ Marwan El-Sammak.

The event aimed to introduce the concept of a carbon footprint and shed light on the importance of incorporating sustainable practices within our  three business sectors, port operations, transportation, and container services.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the carbon footprint concept and how it impacts the environment. Participants gained insight into the importance of sustainability and the role each sector can play in mitigating the impact of their operations.

Masader, founded in 2020, offers sustainability solutions through expert consultants, including carbon footprint assessment, green strategy development, and more. This Project was undertaken in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

S&C’s three primary business sectors, port operations, transportation, and container services, will be transformed to be more environmentally friendly. The company is committed to adopting eco-friendly practices, utilizing energy-efficient technologies, and implementing sustainable solutions to decrease its carbon footprint significantly.

The S&C event at the Syrian Club marked a significant step towards creating a greener and more sustainable future for the region. By fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and implementing innovative solutions, businesses in the port operations, transportation, and container services sectors are moving in the right direction to contribute to the global green transformation and ensure a more sustainable future for generations to come.
